IT IS REQUIRED TO: 1)INSTALL THE SOFTWARE at www.BMIRT.com Download(double click) the zip files, BMIRTSoftware.zip, LinkMIRT.zip, SimuMIRT.zip, SimuMCAT.zip, and save them into the computer that you are going to use at the workshop. Extract all files using the provided password Yaolihuadmdc1! You need to have winzip in your computer. 2)INSTALL Java Runtime Environment (JRE), if you do not yet have JRE installed on your computer, from https://www.java.com/en/download/ You need to ensure that JRE is installed in the proper location on the computer. This can be done by checking if either C:\Program Files\Java\jre7\bin or C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre7\bin is a valid path. You then will need to go to Control Panel --> System-->Advanced system settings. After switching to the Advanced tab, choose Environment Variables. Under System variables, choose New to create a new variable, and type “PATH” for variable name and either “C:\Program Files\Java\jre7\bin” or “C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre7\bin” for variable value, depending on which path is valid (see above). 3)TEST RUN. Go to folder BMIRTSoftware, copy " lib" into subfolder "one-group", double click " final.bat", If you see a black screen and in there, there is some cycle (MCMC loop) running, then you computer is ready. |
